Auto23.ro test drives the new 2014 BMW 435xi. The model tested is the 435i with BMW’s xDrive all wheel drive system and the optional M Sport package. Under the hood, the 435i sports a 3.0 liter inline-6 with a single twin-scroll turbocharger. Power is rated at 306hp and 295 lb-ft of torque at 1200rpms.
Shifting is done by either a 6-speed manual or by an 8-speed automatic. The M Sports package for the BMW 4 Series Coupe is positioned above the Sport Line.
The M Sport Package includes revised front and rear aprons, large alloy wheels and some modifications for the interior, including sports seats and sports steering wheel. In combination with the M package, BMW offers the Estoril Blue Metallic color.
