BMW recalls 2014-2017 BMW i3 models
BMW has issued a recall for approximately 19,000 model-year 2014-17 BMW i3 models equipped with the optional Range Extender REx.

2017 BMW i3 Rex (94 Ah) will have a range of 180 miles
BMW will also continue to offer the Range Extender model which was recently approved by EPA for sale in the United States.
