As with its predecessor, customers can also choose between different lines on the new 2019 BMW 1 Series F40 to adapt their appearance to individual tastes. As in other BMW model series, the Sport Line, the Luxury Line and the M Sport package are also available to pick from. The German price list also features the Advantage model positioned just above the standard equipment.
Even visually, the four lines differ significantly, with the focus either on the premium cabin or on the sportiness of the 1er. Undoubtedly, the sharpest performance is the M Sport model, whose design is also the basis for the top model M135i xDrive. Its mesh kidneys are also available later for the M Performance Parts for other models.
The BMW 1 Series F40 comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, leather steering wheel, automatic driving light control, Bluetooth hands-free system and 8.8-inch infotainment display. Depending on the engine, the basic equipment may also be more extensive, for example, the 120d xDrive always carries at least 17-inch wheels.
Advantage
The Advantage model supplements the standard equipment with the storage package, the passenger seat height adjustment, the Park Distance Control front and rear and the cruise control with brake function. In the photos above, we also see the standard instrument panel with analogue round instruments and a central 5.1-inch display in black panel design.
Sport
In addition, the Sport Line has a slightly adapted exterior with elements in glossy black, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, sports seats and the light package for ambient light in the interior.
Luxury
Particularly high quality is the BMW 1 Series F40 with Luxury Line. Styled in satin-finished aluminum, 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights and rear lights, while the Dakota leather interior, sports leather steering wheel and heated seats for the driver and front passenger are included in the interior of the Luxury package.
M Sport
The performance is particularly dynamic with the M Sport package, whose design is clearly differentiated from all other models, thanks to the modified front and rear aprons. Again, 17-inch wheels are used, optional 18- and 19-inch wheels are also available. Thanks to the M Sport suspension, M Sport steering and M leather steering wheel, the driver has even better control over the vehicle.
Additional extras are the M rear spoiler, the M sports brake, special M sports seats and M seat belts.
