The BMW F06 6 Series Gran Coupe is arguably one of BMW’s best looking cars. The elongated coupe body lines of the Gran Coupe are matched with four-doors for practical use, thus making it a great all-around vehicle. Released in 2012, the 6 Series Gran Coupe still has that sex appeal you rarely see in an older car, yet that’s not enough for some drivers. The perfectionist are always looking to improve upon an already great product and in this case, the owner took his car to a tuning shop for some visual upgrades.
European Auto Source hasn’t felt the need to go over the top in order to bring to enhance the appeal of this elegant tourer. For this build, the tuning company installed the Arkym Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler, the Autotecknic glazing black kidney grilles, a set of iND painted front and rear reflectors. The interior of this BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe was fitted with true BMW Individualism. Amaro Brown and Opal White leather cover the entire interior from the dashboard and doors, all the way to the seats. For an even more elegant feel, the owner picked an Amaro Brown Alcantara headliner as well.
The BMW 650i seen here comes with a a with a 4.4-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo V8 powerplant, which delivers 445 horsepower to the rear wheels. It combines two turbochargers with variable valve control (Double-VANOS and Valvetronic) and high-precision direct injection, allowing for smooth and efficient power delivery, as well as impressive performance with this model. The BMW 6 Series with this V8 powerplant can accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.5 seconds. Just a tad below the much famed BMW M6 models.
With great looks and high performance, there is very little you can still ask from the 6 Series Gran Coupe. Unless, we’re talking about an M car.
