And any customer who does not want to compromise on superior performance, should look no further than the tuning program put together by Dähler for the BMW M4 Convertible F83. Hailing from Switzerland, this BMW F83 M4 Cabriolet receives not only a strong performance increase, but also some other ingredients for a significantly improved driving performance.
Visually, the BMW M4 F83 Dähler remains largely unchanged, only a front splitter and revised wheels are spotted immediately. On closer inspection, you will notice the modified tailpipes of a stainless steel exhaust system and the adjustable performance coilover lowering kit.
Behind the wheels are also hidden a 8-piston brake system with 400 millimeter discs on the front axle.
How much power this BMW M4 convertible really has is the scope of this story. The twin-turbo inline six-cylinder S55 is placed by Dähler at their “Level 1” tuning program which delivers 510 hp and 700 Nm of torque. This performance makes the BMW M4 one of the strongest middle-class athletes with a top speed of 310 km / h.
But some M4 owners want more from their cars, therefore the tuning experts from Switzerland offer a “Level 2” tuning kit for the BMW S55 engine. In this case, the engine produces 540 hp and 730 Nm of peak torque for a top speed of 327 km/h – with a sprint from 0 to 100 clearly under four seconds.
Of course, both levels are also available for the BMW F80 M3 and the BMW F82 M4.
