The new BMW 1 Series is currently being introduced across several European markets. One of them is the picturesque France. New photos showcasing the F40 in full splendor have already hit the Internet. As BMW France deployed its press fleet of brand new 1 Series models, I have already picked my favorite. I am quite of an old-fashioned guy, who would rather fancy a Luxury Line over an M Sport.
The new 1 Series is one of the very few cars that can look individual and different in all available equipment lines. You can say BMW has worked properly to offer versions that could even the pickiest clients. As said earlier, I was positively impressed by how the Luxury Line F40 looked in the latest photo set.
My personal favorite is a very fashionable 118i painted in a deep and eye-catching BMW Individual Storm Bay metallic color. In addition, this Luxury Line 1 Series had been specced with the BMW Individual Aluminum Line Exterior. The shiny details, as opposed to black accents, really give the car presence and excellence.
All-rounding the whole exterior were the 18″ multi-spoke alloy wheels, which are a very welcome addition and deliver more substance to the car’s overall styling. Going inside the car reveals a correctly styled cabin: the black leather upholstery further underlines the luxury ambitions of this 1 Series.
With the new 1 Series, BMW seriously raised the stake in the premium compact segment. With a broader addressability compared to the outgoing F20 generation, the new F40 is equipped for success. The hallmark design, the multiple customization choices, the attractive lineup of powertrains, the impressive technological package and the dynamic on-road behavior will certainly attract new customers towards the brand.
