The new unveiled BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M are already getting a visual upgrade. The two M brothers are now joining the M Performance Parts catalog and are enhanced with a large number of M Performance Exterior Carbon Fiber components.

Manufactured by hand and sealed with a clear finish, the components are given a high-gloss polish for an impressive depth effect.  The components feature a honeycomb structure for a unique look.

At the front, the BMW X5 M and X6 M are gaining a carbon fiber M Performance grille, while the bumper now features the carbon fibre M Performance side sill inserts.

In the back, the two SUVs feature a carbon fiber rear diffuser along with M Performance high-gloss black rear fins. On top of the BMW X5 M’s roof lies an M Performance high-gloss black roof edge spoiler.

The BMW X6 M is adorned with an M Performance Frozen Black Wrapping made of matte black and grey strips with M Performance inscription.

To stop all that 625 ponies, the BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M can be ordered with the M Performance brake system. BMW says that thanks to its larger, inner-vented and perforated lightweight construction brake discs, the upgrade braking system offers further improved braking response, optimized deceleration even under extreme conditions as well as maximum resilience.

The brake calipers finished in red are also a visual highlight which stand out especially in combination with open wheel designs,

Speaking of wheels, a set of M Performance light alloy wheel Double Spoke Styling 809 M with mixed tires (front: 295/35 ZR21 107Y XL; rear: 315/30 ZR22 107Y XL) is available as well. They are painted in a matte Jet Black color.

The cabin has not been forgotten either. An M Performance steering wheel is wrapped in alcantara and includes a red centre marking and the silver-grey, hand-sewn cross-stitch. The M Performance steering wheel is also available with M Performance steering wheel trim in carbon fiber with M Performance inscription and alcantara insert.

To match this, the shift paddles can also be selected in an M Performance finish featuring carbon fabric instead of the standard chrome surface.

Furthermore, there are M Performance floor mats with M Performance inscription, a pennant in the hallmark M colors and a surround in leather look including decorative seam in contrasting colors.

All parts will be available at the market launch of the two M SUVs.
