From England comes the first set of photos featuring the new BMW M135i xDrive in Melbourne Red Metallic. The strong red paint job shows us the third generation of 1 Series from a completely new side. The M Performance BMW M135i xDrive shown here features the standard 18-inch double-spoke 556M Bicolor alloy wheels.
The wheels are reserved for the top model of the 1 Series and are painted in Cerium Gray. Optionally, unlike its predecessor, 19 inches wheels are also available.
Among the exclusive distinguishing features of the BMW M135i xDrive are the kidney grille in Cerium Gray and the mesh design instead of conventional struts. Exterior mirror caps and some other accents in Cerium Gray round off the sporty appearance together with the integrated roof spoiler and the eye-catching exhaust system.
Even if the sound of the exhaust system is dampened by the Otto particle filter, the BMW M135i offers greats acoustics inside the cabin. The high-power turbocharged four-cylinder engine is supported by the Active Sound System delivering great notes for the driver.
Thanks to the all-wheel drive, the BMW M135i xDrive goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 second. The quick sprints are handled by the 306 hp and 450 Newton meters of torque available from under the hood.
Inside there’s the M Sport seat with integrated headrest design finished in Trigon Cloth/Alcantara Anthracite upholstery. Also installed are the optional safety belts with M-stripes and the BMW Live Cockpit Professional with two 10.25-inch displays.
The all-new BMW 1 Series will be available for customer in the UK from late September with prices starting from £24,430. The BMW M135i xDrive starts at £36,430.
