Just a few weeks after its world premiere, the fastest production BMW of all time arrives in Frankfurt to flex its muscles. The BMW M8 Competition is painted in the extravagant launch color Frozen Marina Bay Blue, which is initially available exclusively for the sports coupe.
The matte finish contrasts with the glossy carbon roof and the many details in high-gloss black, which the M8 Competition carries as standard to differentiate it from the basic M8.
In Frankfurt, the BMW M8 Competition in Frozen Marina Bay Blue presents itself with the 20-inch light-alloy wheels star spoke 813 M Bicolor, which are available as a free-of-charge option.
275-millimeter wide front tires and even 285er tires on the rear, together with the all-wheel drive M xDrive, provide first-class traction.
The power is provided by a 4.4 liter V8 TwinTurbo engine. With its 625 hp and 750 Newton meters of torque, the BMW M8 Competition is always to conquer the road.
According to the factory specification, the BMW M8 Competition accelerates from 0 to 100 in just 3.2 seconds – faster than any other mass-produced BMW. The M Drivers Package shifts the electronic limit of the top speed from 250 to 305 km/h.
In the interior, the matte blue BMW M8 Coupe wears a BMW Individual composition with merino leather and Alcantara. The carbon fiber interior trim emphasizes the sporty standards and, together with some red details, points to the M-genes of the vehicle.
