From the iconic New York City hails this BMW 750i Facelift painted in the exclusive and BMW Individual Aventurine Red color. This is the second time we’re seeing this shade of red on a 7 Series, first time being at the media launch of the 7 Series.
BMW recently refreshed the 7 Series, giving it the brand’s “LCI” treatment. With that came some famously large kidney grilles, an update to its iDrive system and gauge cluster, as well as a new engine for the BMW 750i.
It’s actually not an entirely new engine but new state of tune, giving the 750i the same power output as the BMW M850i. So it now makes 523 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. That 750i is capable of 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds, which is seriously rapid, especially for a big luxury sedan.
This particular model also gets the M Sport Package which includes the M Sport exhaust (in some markets), a choice of 19 inch or 20 inch wheels and tires, M Sport steering wheel, specific aerodynamics, Shadowline exterior trim, Anthracite headliner, M door sills and foot rest and a choice of interior trim.
More about the Aventurine Red paint. It’s a BMW Individual color, one that you can get right from the factory. It’s a stunning shade of red that looks really good on the big 7er. In fact, it might be the best looking color offered on the BMW 7 Series.
It isn’t a cheap color, with a price tag of $1,950, but that’s actually not too bad considering that it’s a special color and the car is already so expensive.
