The Nardo Gray paint finish is usually reserved for the likes of the Audi R8 or Audi RS7. After all, Nardo Gray used to be an Audi-exclusive color. Consequently, the paint finish really suits performance models from the Ingolstadt based carmaker nicely, giving them an unmistakable mark. But, through the years, we’ve seen Ferraris and other supercars finished in that color choice, so it’s no surprise that BMW M4 owners are going for this finish too.
This Nardo Gray BMW M4 was at European Auto Source where it received performance and cosmetic upgrades. For this build, it seems the owner wanted only the best that the aftermarket industry can offer, giving his gorgeous M4 quite a makeover.
The build started off with a set of carbon fiber aerodynamic upgrades. The APR Performance carbon fiber front wind splitter was installed, followed by the BMW M Performance carbon fiber rear spoiler, carbon fiber front splitters and carbon fiber mirror caps. A Kohlenstoff carbon fiber rear diffuser is matched with an RKP GTS high wing mount set, giving the vehicle that BMW M4 GTS look. The overall dark/grey scheme suits the vehicle well, giving it a classy, understated, yet aggressive exterior appeal.
After these parts were installed, the owner decided to give his M4 with some new wheels. These BBS FI-R are some of the lightest wheels available on the market today. They suit the M4 nicely, giving it a much better stance. The wheels are installed in sizes of 20×9.5 and 20×10.5 in the front and rear, respectively. For these wheels, a price tag of $2,000 per wheel is somewhat steep for a lot of people, but the lightweight and strong design is perfectly matched to the performance nature of a vehicle like this.
The wheels are shy to reveal a set of bright yellow finished Brembo GT brakes, in front and rear. While the visual value is unmistakable, this big brake kit allows the BMW M4 improved braking performance in tight cornering situations, less brake fade and improved cornering performance, thanks to the option of late braking into a curve for the driver.
Finally, the BMW M4 is upgraded with an Akrapovic Evolution titanium exhaust system. This allows the 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine a bit more power and torque. Namely, the stock 425 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque are upgraded by +5.4kW at 4400 rpm and +12.83 lb-ft at 2350 rpm, respectively.
