Swiss tuned Dahler wanted to show its tuning abilities for the BMW M4 Competition Package model and revealed a 532 hp beast that seems to be able to tackle even some supercars. Even though the tuner showed us what it has in store for the standard M4 a while back, now that the Competition Package version is what everyone seems to be talking about, the guys got together to create an even more impressive package.
The end result definitely looks the part, as it now features more power even than the water-injected BMW M4 GTS and that’s no small feat, especially since they didn’t use any next-level tech as the people over at the M division did. That’s now complemented by even more torque, as the figure of the S55 3-liter straight six mill went up from 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) to 720 Nm (532 lb-ft). That’s enormous for an engine of this size, no matter how you look at it.
Unfortunately, Dahler didn’t provide any info regarding how this extra grunt was achieved and whether it was attained using only a new ECU map or some other changes as well such as new turbos, for example. Nevertheless, they did say they removed the speed limiter, this thing probably being able to reach 300 km/h (186 mph) right now. We’re saying probably as they also refused to offer either an estimate regarding the top speed or the time it takes to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill.
The car in the photos posted here also wears other kit from Dahler as well, from new wheels to a lowering spring kit and some aero bits. The best part is that these are all available for all models in the BMW M3 and M4 range, from the 4-door sedan to the 2-door coupe and convertible versions.
