If you’re interested in buying a new SUV and you’re also a fan of the BMW brand, you’ve probably been waiting for the new BMW X3 to come out for some time now. The guys from CarWow put together a short clip showcasing ten things you should know about the X3 before going into a dealership to order one.
Of course, since the new Sports Activity Vehicle unveiled by BMW earlier this week has been in the spotlight since then, most of the info about it has already been divulged. Even BMW themselves published a comprehensive video the other day, telling you “all you need to know” about the car. Well, the CarWow people still did their own version and they go over things like the exterior and interior design, the driving experience and the sudden fascination the designers seem to have found for hexagons.
While looks can be subjective, the emphasize on the driving characteristics is on point, especially in the M40i guise. The new X3 comes with a fresh version of the xDrive all-wheel drive system that now sends even more of its power to the rear wheels. This should offer the car the edge when compared to its rivals, which are nothing to scoff at either.
Among them you’ll find the new Audi Q5, the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Volvo XC60 and the Jaguar F-Pace. All of them are great and speak a lot about the attention the auto industry is paying to the SUV segment. However, out of all of them, the X3 is the only model that will be available in RWD guise, albeit not available in Europe, in the shape of the sDrive20i model.
