After the first exclusive photos and first videos of the BMW M4 CS, now we bring you a set of wallpapers of the new M star from Munich.
In the M4 CS, power is bumped up by 10 horses compared to the Performance Package, with the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six making a total of 460 horsepower, sent through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Jumping to 62 mph will take 3.9 seconds with the M4 CS model, just 0.2 seconds behind the M4 GTS.
The new M4 CS comes with the adaptive M sports suspension as standard, which largely mirrors the suspension of the M4 with Competition Package. According to BMW, their extremely light suspension played an important role in setting an impressive lap time at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. It took the M4 CS 7 minutes and 38 seconds to lap the famous track.
An active M differential along with M Dynamic Mode are also included on the CS, though they are specially tuned for this car.
A set of staggered Michelin Sport Cup 2 summer tires provide grip, with a set of 19s up front and 20s in the rear.
In the cabin, Alcantara replaces much of the standard trim of the regular M4. Other surfaces have a lightweight carbon fiber-like material lining them, for instance the door innards where pull loops replace the usual grab handles. Further weight is reduced via lightweight bucket seats.
BMW plans to add more CS models to its lineup in the near future.
