For most, going with the current trends in the automotive industry is a must. Things like DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) are a key component of the blazing fast performance sedans like today’s BMW M3. But, for some owners, that simply isn’t the way to go. Consequently, this Alpine White BMW F80 M3 is a purist’s dream. While still powered by the same, modern and performance oriented S55 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, delivering 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, this M3 comes with a 6-Speed manual transmission option.
As a result, the vehicle will do the 0-62mph (0-100km/h) sprint in 4.3 seconds, compared to 4.1 seconds for the DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) specced M3. The same top speed of 155mph (250km/h) can be achieved. Notably, the numbers between the manual and automatic transmission options are not that different, making the selection of transmission options for purists – like the owner of this M3 – quite a logical one.
Additionally even the aftermarket tuning options fore this M3 have been chosen rather carefully as not to impact the M3’s styling and performance. It is worth noting that the owner even discarded the sunroof in favor for the carbon roof option to further reduce weight. As for the interior, the gorgeous Coral Red interior upholstery makes for a fitting combination with the white exterior.
The most notable addition to this vehicle are the forged factory 666M wheels. The wheels, first seen on the BMW M4 with the ZCP Competition Package, are slowly trickling in for the “normal” BMW M3 versions. Furthermore, the wheels come with a hefty price tag (about $3,500 for a set), but they also come with lower weight, gorgeous looks and the perfect fitment straight from the factory – becoming a relevant alternative to custom aftermarket forged wheels.
Additionally, this Alpine White BMW M3 is adorned with a few more interesting visual details. Namely, the BMW M Performance Gloss Black Kidney Grilles and M Performance exhaust tips are installed, alongside the iND painted front reflectors, rear reflectors, side markers and a painted trunk badge as well. Thanks to European Auto Source and their vast knowledge in the field, the whole project is carefully modded. Check out the full media gallery right below.
