While some will argue that this build shows us nothing beyond some cosmetic changes, it’s definitely not true. The Yas Marina Blue BMW M3 seen here comes with a Competition Package, thus negating any need to actually improve its performance any further. Even though the BMW M3 Competition Package doesn’t upgrade the performance department on a large scale, it does however give a decent overall boost.
The Competition Package includes a small power upgrade to 444 horsepower (450 hp in Europe). It also comes along with an Adaptive M Suspension – which has been extensively tuned to the enhanced performance and handling – new springs, dampers and anti-roll bars. You also receive the reconfigured driving modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport+). To finish it off, BMW also retuned the electronic differential and the Dynamic Stability Control to match the upgraded hardware.
Additionally, the addition of the exclusive forged, machine-polished, weight- and rigidity-optimized 20-inch M alloy wheels bring the welcome cosmetic touch to the package. But this was not enough for some owners, as this build by European Auto Source will show us.
The Yas Marina Blue BMW M3 in question was lightly modded in the visual department, receiving a few decent touches. These are the iND painted front reflectors, the iND painted rear reflectors and an iND painted keyhole cover. The end result is a clean, sexy and sleek looking M3 – with full details of this build available in the media gallery right below.
