A Mineral Grey BMW M4 Competition Package has recently showed up on the door steps of European Auto Source workshop for a series of aftermarket upgrades. But before the beautiful M4 went through a makeover process, it was strapped on their dyno machine.
What EAS found was the BMW M4 Competition puts down as much power at the wheels as the standard M4 does at the crank: the 19 horsepower hike in power that BMW M4 Competition Package enjoys over the stock version (max output 450 hp) is all wasted in the drivetrain.
The car now gets 430 horsepower at the wheels, enough to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds.
With the dyno test out of the way, it was time for the makeover process to commence. At the front, the M4 Competition Package now features a carbon fiber lip, paired with carbon fiber air curtains and blacked out kidney grilles. In the back, a carbon fiber diffuser houses the carbon fiber tips of an aftermarket exhaust system.
Last but not least important on the list is a carbon fiber trunk lip which enhances the visuals from behind.

The Competition Package includes Adaptive M Suspension – which has been extensively tuned to the enhanced performance and handling – new springs, dampers and anti-roll bars, along with reconfigured driving modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport+). BMW also retuned the electronic differential and the Dynamic Stability Control to match the upgraded hardware.
Exclusive forged, machine-polished, weight- and rigidity-optimized 20-inch M alloy wheels – front 9J × 20; rear 10 J × 20 – with exclusive multi-spoke 666 M styling and mixed tires (front: 265/30 R20, rear: 285/30 R20) complete the list of chassis upgrades.
