There are several ways to get your BMW X5 M to stand out in the crowd. For example, you could add a cool looking wrap to your vehicle, like the owner of this X5 M. The matte blue wrap is reminiscent of the OEM finish offered by BMW – Long Beach Blue – for some, one of the most interesting exterior color choices offered for the high-performance SUV. The BMW X5 M seen here was slightly modded by European Auto Source, a well known tuning shop in the BMW world.
Along with the matte blue wrap, the X5 M also received a set of custom wheels, painted black and with the outer lip finished in the same blue color. To stand out even more – visually and audibly – a Eisenmann Race Exhaust was matched with the car’s powerful V8 engine. The race version of the Eisenmann exhaust really brings the X5M to life bu delivering a deep growling snarl and ear blistering sound. Be warned, with catless downpipes the Eisenmann Race Exhaust is not for the faint of heart. It may be tolerable at first, but the system has race in its name for a reason.
The BMW X5 M starts at $99,795 for the base model, and for that kind of money, it certainly ticks all the boxes: performance, driving dynamics, handling and visual appeal. It offers plenty of headroom and legroom, a decent sized boot and performance numbers equal to some high-performance sedans. The monster truck is powered by a 4.4 liter V8 TwinPower Turbo engine delivering 575 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. The engine allows the all-wheel drive BMW X5 M to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 4.0 seconds while reaching an electronically limited top speed of 155mph (250km/h).
