To commemorate the 100th anniversary of BMW, the Japanese branch of the Bavarian automaker unveils the BMW 5 Series Celebration Edition BARON aimed at the “real gentleman”. A total of 200 units will be produced and sales will begin Saturday, April 29th.
BMW 5 Series Celebration Edition “BARON” is based on the 523d M Sport models equipped with clean diesel engines. It’s offered In Mineral Gray and Mediterranean Blue. The beautiful paint jobs can be paired with Dakota leather in Oyster or Veneto Beige,
and with the Fine Line Ansorajitto Wood interior trim.
Standard equipment includes 19-inches M light-alloy wheels, double-spoke styling 351M, adaptive LED headlights, BMW Individual aluminum line, dedicated interior badge with a serial number engraved, dedicated coat hanger and interior aroma diffuser. A dedicated Leather key case with the serial number engraved is yet another fine touch.
The 2.0-liter in-line four-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo diesel produces 184 hp at 4,000rpm and 380Nm of torque at 1,750-2,750rpm.
Each BMW 5 Series BARON will sell for 7,770,000 YEN or around $70,000.
