Comedian Jerry Seinfeld, famous for the show bearing his name, has created a new show recently called Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. It’s about as literal of a title for a show as you will find as it’s literally just Jerry Seinfeld driving around in cool cars with other comedians talking about…funny stuff. People said that his original show, Seinfeld, was a show about nothing, but this is truly a show about nothing.
However, for car enthusiasts, it’s an enjoyable show to watch because Seinfeld, one of the bigger car enthusiasts you’ll find anywhere in the world, gets some of the coolest and quirkiest cars in history and puts some of the world’s funniest comedians in them for some fun. They talk about cars, comedy, life and everything in between. Then they head to a coffee shop, have some more funny conversations over some coffee, only to return to the car.
In this latest episode, Seinfeld drives a 1974 BMW 2002 tii. He talks about how the color is named after a lake in Siberia, which is charming…for Germans. He also claims that the 2002 tii is one of the coolest cars in the world.
Then he picks up comedian Kathleen Madigan and her friend and, fellow comedian, Chuck Martin. They talk quite a lot about the little Bimmer and the conversations are quite funny. Madigan claims that he feels like the 2002 is really well built and it feels that it’s “built like a tank” only for Martin to say “hard to believe that the Germans would build a tank”. It’s just funny a funny and enjoyable video that has a very cool little BMW 2002 tii in it. If you like cars and you like Jerry Seinfeld, this is a great video.
