Just a few weeks ago, G-Power introduced to the tuning world their own version of the BMW X6 M. The 650 horsepower SAC is joined today by its brother, the X5 M. The German tuning specialist are giving the powerful SUV even more…power. The 4.4 liter V8 TwinTurbo engine now produces 700 horsepower, thanks to the Bi-Tronik Performance Module 5 V2. The torque was also increased to a whopping 905 Newton Meters which is guaranteed to put you back in your seat.
G-Power in fact offers two tuning stages, based on customer’s personal preferences. There is an ECU map that can which costs 4,284 euros, and also a Plug & Play solution which can be removed at anytime – $4,700 euros. The latter option comes, in addition to the changed software, with flow-optimized stainless steel downpipes with 200-cell sport catalysts. Both alternatives have their individual advantages. The Bi-Tronik 5 – based on a microprocessor-controlled module – comes with all the benefits of a plug and play device and the Bi-Tronik 2 bespoke remapping allows the individual wishes of the customer vis-à-vis throttle response and power delivery characteristics to be written into the software.
Visually, the G-Power BMW X5 M F85 Series from Garching has been upgraded with 23 inch wheels for an even sportier appearance. 315 mm wide tires all round are used for maximum traction, and the complete wheel set is associated with a five-figure price. The company says their forged wheels are nothing less than the lightest, strongest and most individual aluminum wheels in the history of G-POWER.
Made from ultra-light aircraft-grade aluminum, these wheels are available in three different colors (Jet Black, Gun Metal Grey and Stardust Silver) and can be combined with a polished surface – the G-POWER DIAMOND CUT – and be topped off with an individual signature of up to 15 characters.
A polished version of the HURRICANE RR is completing the line-up.
