Today, in Munich, BMW unveiled the latest refresh to the current F30 3 Series model range. The Life Cycle Impulse was applied to the 3 Series Sedan and Touring models, with the 3 GT following next year. The 2015 BMW 3 Series Sedan and Touring feature sharper design and sportier front and rear views. Designer have given the headlights a redesign with optional full-LED lighting while the LED taillights are sharper and more dynamic. The rear end also gets more sculpted and clearly defined lines.
Inside, premium materials and new trim options further improve the looks and luxury aspect of the 3 Series family.
BMW offers the 3 Series models with three equipment lines: Sport Line, Luxury Line and M Sport Package. Customers can choose from a total of 16 exterior colors for their new BMW 3 Series. New additions to the range include Mediterranean Blue metallic, Platinum Silver metallic and Jatoba metallic, in addition to the Individual colour Champagne Quartz metallic.
Along with a refreshed design, BMW delivers a new top of the line 3 Series: 340i. In sedan and touring form, the 340i delivers 326 horsepower from the new B58 six-cylinder inline engine and a max torque of 450 Nm. Despite the increased 20 horsepower, the standard consumption of the 340i Touring has been reduced to 6.8 liters. The newly developed all-aluminum power unit accelerates the BMW 340i Touring F31 LCI effortlessly in 5.1 seconds to 100 km / h, and it’s also available as four-wheel variant: 340i xDrive. While 340i sedan customers may choose between a manual six-speed gearbox and eight-speed automatic, the automatic transmission is the only choice for the touring.
