Fire Orange is one of the hottest BMW colors on the market now. Introduced on the M3 GTS, the Fire Orange has since been used on limited edition cars, like the Lime Rock M3, and even on “regular” cars like the 3 Series. For around $5,000, anyone can have this beautiful paint job. Or, you can simply use a vinyl wrap and save the money for other mods.
The owner of this BMW M6 resorted to the latter option and wrapped up his classy M6 in a Fire Orange vinyl. The BMW E63 M6 used the same 5.0 L V10 S85 engine and SMG III gearbox as the E60 M5 producing 373 kW (500 hp) and 520 Nm (380 lb-ft) of torque. And if that’s not enough power, you can seek more ponies on the tuning market.
The folks over at European Auto Source worked on the power upgrade of this E63 M6 using an ESS tune.
In combination with the RPI Scoops, RPI Full Exhaust, RD Underdrive Pulleys, and BMC Filters, this bright-looking M6 churns out a respectable 472hp and 354ft-lbs tq at the wheels. The BMW M6, in its stock form, can accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.4 seconds. With the added tune, this acceleration time and overall performance should increase quite a bit.
