German tuning powerhouse G-Power works their magic on the BMW M5. The super sedan gets an impressive power upgrade to 740 horsepower and 975 Nm (719 lb-ft) of torque. In stock form, the 4.4 liter V8 TwiTurbo engine delivers 560 horsepower and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft).
The power increase was achieved through the installation of a new electronic engine management system and a new titanium exhaust system with racing catalysts and carbon fiber tailpipes. The bump in power now takes the M5 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 10.5 seconds and has a top speed around 350 km/h.
Aside from the power upgrades, the G-Power M5 gets a carbon fiber and 21 inch G-Power Hurricane RR forged wheels complete with 255/30 and 295/25 rubber.
With the previous generation E60 M5, G-Power managed to take the power output to 800 horsepower, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see the F10 M5 achieving the same specs in the near future.
