The BMW E90 3 Series has not been forgotten and it’s still one of the highest regarded sedans out there. European Auto Source got their hands on an E90 335i and worked their magic on the powerful sedan by adding several cosmetic mods while raising the power.
In stock form, the E90 335i is powered by a 3.0 liter twin-turbo inline-sex engine developing 306 horsepower and 400 Nm (295 lb·ft). These performance figures allow the car to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 5.0 seconds with the automatic transmission.
With the work done by European Auto Source, the 335i churns out 438hp and 471ft-lbs tq at the wheels; at the same level as the new BMW M3 and M4.
The car has also received an M Performance exhaust system for a better exhaust flow and some louder sound.
The modifications at EAS started with a set of new wheels. Looking for an option that was both strong and lightweight, the owner of this E90 decided on the popular 18″ APEX ARC-8 wheels. Featuring classic CSL styling and a beautiful hyper silver finish, these flow-forged ARC-8 wheels were the perfect choice for this sedan.
Additionally, the car was lowered with a set of H&R Sport Lowering Springs, allowing for a better stance. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin PSS tires, which are the very same ones you’ll find on a new F8X models as well.
The BMW E90 335i now looks modern, stylish and ready to take on the current generation of the 3 Series.
