Yesterday, BMW unveiled the 2015 6 Series LCI facelift family. As with every new facelift, we’ve put together a photo comparison with the pre-LCI model to showcase the visual changes.
With the three LCI models, BMW stayed true to their formula of not tinkering too much with a design that people love.
The changes to the design are subtle.BMW removed one slat from its kidney grilles, full-LED headlights are now standard, and the fog lights feature three distinct LED units. The biggest changes are the headlights because they have a completely new interior and the turn signals are now integrated into the bezel accent at the top.
The front bumper gets redesigned a bit as well. It now features large lower air intakes with a subtle lip underneath running across the entire lower end.
A major innovation with the 6 Series Facelift was the introduction of the two design and equipment lines: Pure Experience and Design Pure Excellence, but since no such packages existed before, a photo comparison is not available.
