In classic Melbourne Red, AC Schnitzer presents its own tuning project based of the new BMW M235i. At the 2014 Essen Motor Show, the BMW F22 M235i from Aachen stands out not only with its visual upgrades but also with a power output: 380 hp.

On the exterior, the AC Schnitzer M235i comes with a carbon fiber front apron and exterior mirror caps, a rear spoiler lip and diffuser made of carbon as well. Sets of new custom wheels have also been designed for the M235i giving the car an even sportier look.

Inside, the sporty coupe also gets the usual AC Schnitzer upgrades, aluminum pedals and foot rest, carbon fiber branded with the company’s logo and a new shifter.

Along with the power upgrade from the stock 340 hp, the M235i now has a larger intercooler that keeps the engine always at the right temperature.

For the 218d, Schnitzer offers 171 hp while the 220d makes 218 hp after tuning. The twin-turbo diesel 225d comes with 258 hp. For BMW 220i Coupe, the driver of the AC Schnitzer now can use 245 hp.

In order to offer even more driving fun in corners, various suspension options have been developed in Aachen. From a spring kit sports suspension up to the adjustable compression and rebound racing suspension, the company has the right offer at any price point. Depending on the chassis, the car can be lowered by 30 to 40 millimeters.
