The BMW M4 Coupe is one of the favorites of the tuning shops at the 2014 Essen Motor Show. No other vehicle is more represented on the stands of the tuning industry as the successor of the M3 Coupe.
The fastest of the bunch is the one coming Lightweight. Their BMW F82 M4 has demonstrated its performance in a test by Auto Bild around the Hockenheim race track. With a lap time of 1:10.1 minute, the Lightweight M4 was faster than any other BMW street legal sports cars.
The Lightweight BMW F82 M4 leaves the standard M4 a whopping three seconds behind. The leap in performance comes thanks to a power boost to 548 horsepower and a Bilstein Clubsport suspension.
In the back, the M4 features a flap controlled titanium exhaust system with down pipe, a lightweight solution that sounds better than stock also. The front splitter is made of carbon fiber while the rear end sports an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing in touring car style.
