From the racetrack to the road, the brand new BMW M Performance Exhaust System for BMW M3 (F80) and BMW M4 (F82/F83) has arrived. The lightweight aftermarket exhaust system with titanium rear silencer generates a highly emotive sound redolent of racing sports. In layman’s terms, the BMW M Performance Exhaust System will provide a soothing sound with more growl coming from the performance car.
Developed especially for the BMW M3 and M4, this sound system is featuring some technical advancements compared to the stock system. In visual terms, the four 80mm tailpipes made from titanium with the M logo create an unmistakable appearance – together with 93mm tailpipe made out of carbon fiber that you can order as well. BMW M logo is included on those as well. Even the exhaust silencer features an M Performance logo, further accentuating the entire appearance.
With this package you receive the Motordynamic button, allowing you to switch through multiple modes, which influence the exhaust system’s performance and sound as well. Modes are Sport and Sport+ mode (maximum emotional sound, very sporty, very loud, maximum performance) and Efficient mode (sporty sound, significantly sportier and more emotional than the standard system, but with residual comfort for uncompromising everyday use). The silencer system comprises of a high-quality materials mix, in which the pre-pies are made from lightweight stainless steel and the rear silencer is made entirely from titanium. This reduces the weight significantly compared to the stock exhaust system, providing additional performance gains through lower overall car weight too. The silencer system is 32% (8kg) lighter than the standard component for this car.
