The usual spy photographer Palbay (twitter.com/palbay) gives us some real life photos of the new 2014 BMW X3 Facelift and the all-new BMW X4 Sports Activity Coupe.
Judging by the spy shots, we seem to be looking at the X4 in the Sparkling Brown color and the X3 Facelift in Alpine White. The color palette is pretty standard on the X4, similar to the other X-models. The second Sports Activity Coupe can be ordered in Mineral White, Glacier Silver, Mineral Silver, Melbourne Red, Deep Sea Blue, Sophisto Grey, Sparkling Brown, Black Sapphire, Alpine White and Black.
BMW X4
Like its larger sibling, the BMW X6, the X4 offers a unique and unmistakable presence on the road. BMW designers describe the X4 as a blend of style, driving dynamics and all-road capability.
Built on the same platform as the X3, BMW X4 measures 184.3 inches (4,680 mm) in length, it is 0.6 inches (14 mm) longer than the X3, but is also 1.5 inches (37 mm) lower (height: 63.9 in./1,624 mm).
The X4’s body is mounted 1.5 inches (37 mm) lower than that of the BMW X3. The driver and front passenger sit 0.8 in. (20 mm) lower and the rear passengers 1.1 in. (28 mm) lower, creating the feeling of a classic sports coupe.
In the US, the X4 will be offered with a choice of two TwinPower Turbo engines. The X4 xDrive28i, with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $45,625 (including destination and handling), will feature the 240 horsepower 2.0-liter four cylinder engine while the top-of-line X4 xDrive35i, with an MSRP of $48,925 (including destination and handling) will output 306 hp.
BMW X3 Facelift
The new BMW X3 facelift is one of the most extensive life cycle impulses we have seen for BMW in the last few years.
The new BMW X3 cuts a visually more powerful figure with its new, modified twin-circular headlights (LED headlights are optional), a more eye-catching kidney grille, new front and rear bumpers, and exterior mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators – all of which shine a figurative spotlight on the signature BMW X model design features. A high level of perceived quality also defines the interior of the new BMW X3.

New exterior colors, upholstery designs, interior trim strips and light-alloy wheels enable even more refined individualization. The new xLine allows owners to lend greater emphasis still to the dynamic and robust SAV character of the BMW X3.
The F25 X3 LCI prices in the US will start at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $39,325 for the X3 sDrive28i (new offer: rearwheel drive). The X3 xDrive28i (with BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive) will have an MSRP of $40,725, while the top-of-the-line X3 xDrive35i will have an MSRP of $45,825.
