Here is a preview of the 2014 ALPINA D3 BiTurbo.
Ahead of the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show, ALPINA releases some information and images on the D3 BitTurbo model. The super sporty diesel sedan is based on the F30 3 Series and will go on sale later this year.
Under the hood, the ALPINA D3 uses an inline six-cylinder 3.0 liter TwinTurbo diesel motor which outputs 345 HP (257kw) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) torque. 0 to 62 mph is achieved in 4.6 seconds while the top speed is set at 173 mph or 278 km/h.
The fuel consumption ratings are 5.3 liters / 100 km or 44.3 MPG.
ALPINA D3 Biturbo is available with a rear-wheel drive and xDrive setup. Optional limited slip differential will also be available.
