After a full day at The Quail, the BMW M4 Concept goes to Laguna Seca for a public viewing at the BMW Garage.
Sporting the same Aurum Dust paint job, the BMW M4 Concept has attracted a large number of people eager to see the first M4 model ever produced by the M engineers. Using an already attractive base car, the BMW 4 Series Coupe, BMW Chief Designer Adrian Van Hooydonk and his team give the M4 an aggressive front end which stands out with large air inlets and Air Curtains.
The M4 also comes with black kidney grille bars that imitate the characteristic M double spoke design of the BMW M wheels, while the M4 emblem on the kidney grille adding an exclusive accent to the front end.
A series of carbon fiber elements are showing us what the aftermarket catalog will look like, among them a CF front splitter and a rear diffuser. A rear spoiler lip is integrated into the trunk lid for optimum downforce.
BMW has yet to reveal the power output for the new M3 and M4, but we’re sticking to our prediction of 420 hp to 450 hp range. We’re also expecting a Nurburgring lap time below 8 minutes.
Here is the photo gallery, along with a new video from the BMW press conference showing the M4 Concept.
