The 2014 BMW 5 Series Facelift is just days away from its market launch in Europe. The Life Cycle Impulse, or facelift, applies to the entire range of 5 Series models, and the super-sporty M5: the F10 sedan, F11 Touring, and Gran Turismo.
The M Sport package is tailored to each model variant adding further differentiation between them.
In the case of F10 and F11, the package includes 18-inch light-alloy wheels double spoke style 613M, and also 19-inch M double spoke 351. For the Gran Turismo the wheels program is somewhat different, because the basic price of the M Sports package includes 19 inch wheels V-spoke 302 M, and on request the double spoke 303 M.
In the 5 Series models with rear-wheel drive, the M Sports suspension is part of the M Sports package, and can be ordered in conjunction with the Adaptive Suspension with Dynamic Damper Control and Adaptive Drive.
Design wise, the M Sport package adds black BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line, tailpipes in dark chrome and an M logo on the front fenders.
The interior includes sports seats with fabric and alcantara, an M leather steering wheel, M door sills, the roof lining in anthracite and interior trim aluminum hexagon. Of course, other trims and various leather options are available on request.
In Europe, the price for the BMW 5 Series Facelift 2013 with M Sport package, depending on the base model, starts at 3,900 euros (550i), 4,700 EUR (535i, 535d, ActiveHybrid 5) or 5,200 euros (520i, 528i, 518d, 520d, 525d, 530d).
