BMW UK releases a new video of the high-end coupe coming from the M Division. The 2012 BMW M6 Coupe just went on sale in the United States with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices of $106,995.
The new M6 is powered by a high-revving 4.4-litre V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, consisting of Twin Scroll Twin Turbo technology, cross-bank exhaust manifold, High Precision Direct Petrol Injection and VALVETRONIC fully variable valve control. The cars deliver 560 hp at 6,000 – 7,000 rpm and maximum torque of 680 Newton meters (502 lb-ft) from 1,500 rpm.
Dimensions of the new M6 have increased over the previous generation. The car measures 4,898 mm in length and it is 2106 mm wider. Due to the increased size, the overall weight has gone up as well: 4,243 lbs.
0 to 62 mph is achieved in 4.3 seconds while the spring to 124 mph (200km/h) takes only 13.1 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h).
