Our coverage from the BMW press conference in New York continues with an exclusive interview. We had the pleasure to sit down with Peter Miles, Executive Vice President Operations BMW of North America, who gave us some insight into BMW sales, effectiveness of Superbowl marketing and future emission regulations.
Peter also talked to us about the different drivetrains available in the US and what MINI represents for BMW USA. We also threw a curve ball and wanted to hear his opinion on BMW maintaining its Ultimate Driving Machine image and a possible dilution of the brand in exchange for higher sales.
More BMW diesels in the US? Nothing official at the moment, but Peter made an interesting remark.
