BMW continues to increase the marketing spending around the new BMW X3, one of the key models for BMW in the upcoming years. Launch late last year, the new X3 moves its production from Austria to Spartanburg, South Carolina.
To showcase the offroad and on-snow capabilities of the 2011 X3, BMW is hosting a mountain driving event in collaboration with the ski-maker K2. From January until March, events will take place on both the East and West Coast.

When it comes to performance, the all-new BMW X3 and K2 skis are very well matched. Which is exactly why the two have joined to host driving events where you can win prizes this winter. From January until March, each event will take place at exclusive mountain resorts across the country.
The new X3 will be on display for you to experience and BMW experts will be available for demonstrations. Or you can just relax and enjoy complimentary hot refreshments. But to really experience the new X3, you will have the opportunity to take one out for a test drive. And in return, you can demo a pair of K2 skis for the day. The mountain is calling-don’t miss it.
