BMW Head of Design Adrian Van Hooydonk introduces the MINI Scooter E in the heart of London, a return journey to where the scooters first came to life.

Dubbed MINI Scooter E Concept, the model is a two-wheeler electric scooter. The electric motor is placed behind the rear wheel, and its driving autonomy is estimated at around 62 miles. Top speed is 31 mph.

The performance of the engine is intended to satisfy the urban needs, thus turning the scooter in an ideal transportation means in the city, and perfectly ecologic. This is BMWs second step in the Project i program which debuted last year with the MINI E. Next in line, ActiveE 1 Series Coupe, followed by BMW’s first super lightweight carbon fiber vehicle, Megacity.
